We support you to identify your decluttering & organising goals - this could be anything from a small space or area of your home, to specific rooms, or whole house decluttering and organising.
We also offer decluttering and organising of other aspects of your life such as paperwork, emails, photos & bereavement administration (see below).
-
At Balance Living we take decluttering & organising to the next level by supporting you to create systems for day to day living tasks. This supports your daily function & efficiency and also helps you to keep your newly organised home in check going forwards.

Rachel’s previous experience as an Occupational Therapist within brain injury rehabilitation ensures an understanding of cognition which supports all individuals within the decluttering & organising process, but which is particularly important for neurodiverse individuals.

Wardrobe organisation is a particular love of Rachel’s. Throughout the years Rachel has managed wardrobes of varying shapes and sizes. From single rail systems and seasonal rotations, to designing large fitted wardrobes and dressing rooms - and everything in between!
Rachel’s experience within both physical and mental health settings ensures an awareness of some of the wider issues such as weight fluctuation and body image which can impact on wardrobe management.
-
With a young family herself, Rachel has an interest in toy management and rotation and has implemented a toy rotation system within her own home, noticing the positive impact this has on her daughter’s engagement with her toys.
Of course we all have different spaces and options for toy storage and both we & our children have differing needs. As with all of our services, toy management systems are fully personalised to your specific needs & environment - one size definitely does not fit all!

There is a long list of administrative & practical tasks to be completed following someone’s death. For the bereaved, this comes at the most challenging of times. We have often never had to do any of this before and especially for individuals with limited online experience, this is at the least, very stressful and often, not possible without wider support.
Rachel is able to provide support to bereaved individuals with practical & administrative tasks with empathy, at your pace, with professionalism & efficiency.
